Candidates in «Orchestra Conductor»
nomination shall perform Ludwig van Beethoven, Symphony № 2, Op. 1.
Candidates in «Choir Conductor»
nomination shall perform the following pieces:
W.A. Mozart «Ave Verum», anf G. F. Händel «Hallelujah» from the «Messiah».
A candidate shall be allowed to perform with one's own accompanist (or accompanists, in case there is a four-hands two-pianos performance in "Orchestra Conductor" or "Choir Conductor" nomination). Accompanists may also take part in the competition in «The Art of Accompanying» nomination. A candidate without one's own accompanist shall be provided with an accompanist(s) by the Competition Organising Committee.
Accompanist's services are payed for separately (more information below).

nomination provides for both in-person and remote participation
of candidates fitting under age categories #6-8
. A candidate shall deliver a demo lesson with one of his/her students on one of the following topics (as selected by a candidate):
1. One or several pieces by Baroque or Classicism era composers.
2. One or several pieces by Romanticism era composers representing Western Europe or Russia.
3. One or several pieces by XX-XXI centuries composers representing Russia or any other country.
A music-theory-teacher candidate shall deliver a lesson on any music theory or music history subject to a group of students. Scenario of the lesson shall be determined by a candidate on his/her own discretion. The lesson length shall be 45 minutes.
In case of remote participation, a candidate shall send a video recording of the lesson (either in DVD or mp4 format) or an active web-link along with the candidate's application to e-mail
Previously unpublished research papers on any topic regarding musical arts and musical education are accepted to take part in the Competition. When assessing the papers, the jury shall take into account the originality, relevancy, scientific novelty, thoroughness and logic of presentation. Candidate's paper shouldn't be coauthored with a teacher. Papers shall be sent along with the candidate's application to e-mail

Works of various genres are accepted to take part in the Competition, such as music critical article, review, story, essay, note, annotation, descriptive portrait, etc. Content and topic of works should regard music arts, including music education. Works shall be sent along with the candidate's application to e-mail

Candidate's performance program should consist of the opening remarks and a fragment of lecture-concert.
Both remote and in-person participation
is possible. In case of remote participation, a candidate shall send a video recording of the lesson (either in DVD or mp4 format) or an active web-link along with the candidate's application to e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org. Performance length (including voice illustrations) should be limited to no more than 15 minutes. Participation in several nominations is possible.
Candidates in "Contemporary Vocal" and "Contemporary Vocal Ensemble" nominations may perform accompanied by a piano, other instrument or ensemble, with a playback or a`cappella. Awards: Grand Prix – 50,000 roubles.
Winners in each nomination and age category shall be awarded with laureate diplomas (I, II, III, IV degree).
Laureates of first-degree diplomas will participate in the Final Concert.
Laureates shall be invited to take part in concerts under the International Arts Forum "Romanticism: Sources and Horizons) in Moscow, other cities of Russia and in Italy.
Laureates' teacher shall be awarded with a special Certificate of Honor, once the candidate's application includes the teacher's full name, title and job position.
The judgement of the jury shall be final and not disputed. Application Documents:
